PROJECT OVERVIEW

The De-Bottleneck project aimed to improve operational efficiency by upgrading existing pipework within a challenging industrial environment. The project specifically optimised the processes of fuel delivery, ensuring smoother and more efficient operations. CUB3D was tasked with conducting a comprehensive 3D laser scan of the site and delivering detailed engineering for both the pipework and supporting structural steel.

SOLUTIONS & EXECUTION

  • 3D Laser Scanning: We deployed advanced 3D laser scanning technology to capture the existing conditions with millimetre accuracy. This provided a reliable foundation for the engineering phase.

  • 3D Conceptual Design: Using the scan data, our team developed a detailed 3D conceptual design of the proposed modifications, which was reviewed and approved by the client.

  • Detailed Engineering: With client approval, we proceeded with detailed engineering, ensuring all pipework and structural steel met industry standards and project requirements.

  • Fabrication Drawings: The final engineering output included fabrication isometrics for pipework and fabrication drawings for structural steel, streamlining the manufacturing and installation process.
