CUB3D was commissioned to rescan a building after the client discovered significant inaccuracies in a previous survey. The project required millimetre-precise spatial data to ensure the accuracy of their model, as the errors in the initial scan posed risks to the project’s integrity.

SOLUTIONS & EXECUTION

Rapid Mobilisation: Our team completed the site induction, signed the permit, and began scanning by 9:30 AM on the first day.

Advanced Scanning Technology: Using two FARO Premium scanners, we systematically captured the building’s structure in just two working days.

High-Accuracy Data Processing: The scans were meticulously processed to ensure an accuracy of 1.68mm from top to bottom.

Client Model Alignment: The client was required to modify their original model to conform to the new, precise scan data.
