PROJECT OVERVIEW

CUB3D was commissioned to conduct a comprehensive survey of an entire chemical facility in support of an ongoing As-Built 3D modeling project. The objective was to deliver highly accurate spatial data that aligned with the site’s existing grid monuments, ensuring precise positioning of all facility zones and seamless integration within the overall site model.

Deployment of Advanced Scanning Technology: Utilising two Faro Premium scanners, we efficiently captured comprehensive 3D point cloud data across all facility zones within a rigorous five-day field survey.

Accurate Data Positioning: All scans were meticulously registered to the site’s grid monuments, ensuring perfect alignment between different sections of the facility.

Post-Processing & Format Delivery: The raw scan data underwent detailed post-processing at CUB3D’s headquarters, where it was optimised and converted into multiple formats tailored to the client’s needs.

Timely & High-Quality Delivery: Despite the demanding requirements, the dataset was processed and delivered within the allotted time frame, meeting the client’s high expectations.
