3D Modelling

3D modelling is a powerful tool used in engineering to create virtual representations of real-world objects or systems. By using industry standard AutoDesk software, our engineers can design and simulate 3D models of assets, structures, or systems with precision and accuracy.

We can model using reference images, clients or supplier drawings and details, or over-model pointcloud data produced via laser scanning.

Our 3D models can also be used in combination with our laser scanning. A site or plant area can be scanned creating a digital version where the 3D model scan be inserted and placed in-situ, enabling our clients to visualise and test their designs in a virtual environment, making it easier to identify and correct potential flaws or errors before the physical product is installed or even built. This process often precedes and leads to further feasibility studies. This saves time, reduces costs, and improves the overall quality of the final product.
